Axelle Red: Music returns with "The Slap"

With "The Slap" that the talented Axelle Red is back on the music scene in 2011. Belgian singer will release a new album "A Heart Like Mine" April 4, 2011 Naïve, his new record label. The French-language music news this week marks the return to music of singer Axelle Red. This year will be busy for Axelle Red with a new album, new project on a new label and a new series of shows.

Axelle Red will be performing May 19 at the "New Morning" in Paris to present his new songs to his fervent public and invest the "Casino de Paris 28 November 2011. Axelle Red was absent from the music scene since 2006 and the magnificent album "A Secret Garden." With a successful career already behind her, Axelle Red, 13-year collaboration with record label Virgin, gave us six albums and songs that are still present in our musical memory as "Sensuality" or "I t ' wait ".

In 2011, Axelle Red changed record label and sign a contract with Naive. It begins as a new musical adventure with a brand new album due out on April 4th "A Heart Like Mine." This new album by Axelle Red is fully composed by the singer. It was in a church converted into a recording studio in the middle of the countryside near the famous town of Woodstock Axelle Red has prepared his album.

The new album "A Heart Like Mine" will include 13 new songs including the first single proposed s'initule "The Slap." The album was produced by Mark Plati known for his work with David Bowie and Alain Bashung. Axelle Red has surrounded himself with famous musicians and has allowed Christophe Miossec, Gérard Manset, Florent Marchet and Ben Mazuet the liberty to write some texts.

Also note the presence on the album Stephan Eicher who participates in a duet on one song of the album. The sound of the album looks like a mix of pop, folk and country music, like the place or has been crafted album.
