Cut Copy - Zonoscope: between electronica and dance pop hook

Returning to listen to the album that Cut Copy made themselves known throughout the world, scratching In Ghost Colours (2008, Modular Recordings), and compare this new Zonoscope (2001, Modular) I find a band that has use of the three years between improving average sound proposal for a more solid sound.

Cut Copy - Take Me Over (YouTube) I commented when talking about the previous album, the success of Cut Copy is based on who can unite very different hook sounds like Pop, Indie Rock of catchy riffs and electronics between the vitalist and a minimum Electro House. In this new album will continue to have bases over curbs to achieve these increases houseros live as in 'Take Me Over' or become more eighties in 'Blink And You'll Miss A Revolution', including falsetto.

Zonoscope is an album that comes to cheer us on, to go with a theme in the DJ sets close to the sound that will have to decide which to choose their repertoire because Cut Copy have done their homework very well when it comes to offering singles dance. Cut Copy - Pharaohs & Pyramids (YouTube) Low funkarras from the Dance Punk and formerly of the House are holding many issues.

Especially 'Take Me Over' or 'Pharaohs & Pyramids' where the Deep House is floating around the bases with great success. It is my favorite. Still, Zonoscope not only dance album, an indie electronic resultón but from 'Strange Nostalgia For The Future' we meet half appears more pop pop vitalist life with 'This Is All We've Got 'with drums and choruses, a formula that we have heard before' Where I'm Going "(which seem to use the riff from 'Overture' from the album Tommy (1969, Polydor) by The Who on the rise final), with 'Alisa' between guitars and filters to a voice at the back, or the peace of 'Hanging Onto Every Heartbeat'.

Of course, when it 'Corner Of The Sky' become the paths of LCD Soundsystem no problem. Highlights in a full stop 'Sun God'. Cut Copy left to the end just over 15 minutes in which to shake hands of Happy Mondays Madchester while covering deceptive lines between pop Trance approaches to allowing them to generate a sense of escape you need a topic so long.

With long instrumental breaks that grow back, to warn of the rise is not going to get a break but continue to disappear.
