Bogotá, March 23 (EFE) .- The Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz and Amaia Montero, Andrés Cepeda Colombians and Santiago Cruz, among others, will give a concert on 7 May in Bogota for the victims of last year's rains the country, sources in the organization. "Colombia Humanitarian" and Telephone Communications announced the conclusion of the event, called "Voices of Solidarity ', to support the needs of more than 2.3 million Colombians affected by the two rainy seasons a year earlier.

The collection of the proceeds will go entirely to the Calamity Fund established by the Colombian government to bring aid to areas affected by precipitation. Heavy rains in Colombia in 2010 killed more than 310 people dead, dozens missing, hundreds wounded, houses, roads, bridges and thousands of hectares of crops destroyed and flooded.
"Colombians need all we remember that we have many compatriots are still affected by the winter that will surely come again, for the approaching winter will be strong, "said the wife of president Juan Manuel Santos announcing the concert.
