This is the cover of the new album by Death Cab For Cutie. And yes, I know what you're thinking: Is it a hashtag of Twitter? Is it a phone pad? Either way, I think an image symbolic attractive enough to maintain hope in the group of Ben Gibbard, perhaps with his latest album, Narrow Stairs the distant, disappointed by the downturn posed about their previous albums summits in his career, as Plans and, above all Transatlanticism.
Whenever a group is consolidated into a certain style, it is sometimes difficult to let go of the clichés and maintain the identity of the time you intend to take a change in style. And get that by keeping the fans before and, hopefully, expand the target audience, and seems a utopia. In just 2 months we will be hard on the hands (or headphones) and we will be unveiling unknowns.
And if we are disappointed, gives me more of a start to blame her marriage to Zooey Deschanel ...
