Enrique Morente, Fallen Angel video: the great teacher's farewell

Enrique Morente left us on December 13 but the singer has not gone away. We still have his music, his art and recording, documentary film Morente. Picasso's barber to be released on 31 March at the Malaga Film Festival. At the premiere have confirmed attendance Aurora Carbonell his wife and children Estrella, Solea and Harry.

That film, directed by Emilio Ruiz Barrachina, has removed a video that contains the last recorded by the singer of the Albaicin, a version of 'Fallen Angel', Antonio Vega, registered in the studies of the SGAE in Madrid accompanied on the piano jazzman by Federico Lechner. Video | YouTube Enrique Morente had interpreted this theme in tribute to various artists and groups dedicated after his death the former leader of Nacha Pop on April 9, 2010 at the Palacio de Deportes de Madrid, a emotivísima version in which he accompanied the the tribute band that you can see above, after which we hear say olé, master.

The film opens April 8 in the movie theaters and a month later they release a CD with versions of the themes that the singer recorded with Picasso's poems, which are the connection link of the film. View the video and listen Morente's voice in this issue devoted to another artist, Vincent Van Gogh, put my hair like hooks.

The piano does not sound like flamenco Arturo Pavón, son of Manolo Caracol, but very jazzie, but this combination of styles: flamenco teacher, Lechner piano and pop song of Antonio Vega, is as bit of a genius.
