This week, the cinema invites us to discover a new meeting of the 3rd kind not quite orthodox by offering us get to know Paul. Alien completely hilarious, crazy and rock'n'roll, Paul is a character after the fertile imagination of Simon Pegg. On a screenplay written by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, also embody the two main guests of the film, this story in mind very "American Trip," takes us into the place most mysterious of all the U.S.
Zone 51. Two British geeks played by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost travel the United States. In their trip to the U.S. A, the two friends set out to cross the zone 51 with their camper when they come face to face with an alien named Paul. Living hidden in Area 51 for 60 years, this alien, highly cultivated and speaks our language, convinces two friends to take him to save his life and help to leave the Earth.
But nothing is necessarily as simple and the story quickly turns to journey. Difficult to go completely unnoticed with an alien in the streets of American towns and the fact that they are quickly pursued by a police officer and two FBI agents. Directed by Greg Mottola, Paul is a rock'n'roll movie where laughter is good place as well as the soundtrack for the movie is nice.
Paul is not an alien like the others and as he rightly says himself: "Marvin is my cam! . Thus, Marvin Gaye, Electric Light Orchestra, or the song "Just the Two of Us" by Bill Withers take a prominent place in the adventures of this trio of acolytes, whose music the adventures pace. It is also worth noting the involvement of Sigourney Weaver in the movie Franco-British and, finally, Paul would not be entirely without Paul's voice as rock'n'roll journalist from France, Philippe Manoeuvre.
The editor of Rock'n'Folk lent his inimitable voice to the features of the alien's most rock'n'roll of space.
