The Mars Volta have a new live track

Building on its passage through the SXSW, The Mars Volta Live presented some songs from his new album, undoubtedly one of the most anticipated in the field of alternative rock / progressive / whatever-it-is. So far I've only managed to find one in the video, as you can imagine the quality is nothing special, but at least we can take a first bite of this work.

A few days ago the guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez confirmed that the album is finished, claiming to be the last of an era in which he has been the creative dictator of the band from here will be imposed democracy. By their words we know will include thirteen tracks total, and that will be a simplified version of what they have done so far.

Has not been at all clear to the last detail? Well, the thing becomes even more confusing to quote other statements of singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala, who described it this way so diffuse the sound of the sixth studio album signed by The Mars Volta: Well there you have it, punk future, whatever that means.

If the work is in the subject line that begins this article, I think we should not fear anything out of place. In any case we still name for the album or release date, so be patient and see what new surprise will be removed from the manga these madmen of El Paso.
