16 May 2011, Moby will release a new album and a book of photographs entitled "Destroyed." Two years after the album "Wait For Me," the New York artist offers a new concept album in both electronic and nostalgic. "Destroyed" is composed of a disc and a book that invites us to explore the universe of Moby firstly through his music and 55 photographs taken by the composer during his various performances around the world .
Moby's new album, "Destroyed" was registered to the old. For this new album, the DJ and composer did not use its computers and various machines, but returned to his first love, at the age of analog recording. The album "Destroyed" was mixed on a mixing console in 1972. Victim of insomnia, Moby, worked the night his new compositions.
During the presentation of the album, he said: "It was as if I were alone in the world not to be asleep." The book that accompanies the CD will be a book of 128 pages of photos taken together by Moby worldwide. In this book, the singer reveals the hidden side of his various tours. This new project Moby, immerses us into his world both mysérieux and intriguing.
To mark the release of the ninth studio album, Moby first presents his first EP "Be The One" combines three songs from the album "Be The One", "Sevastopol", "Victoria Lucas" posted on his official website for free. This EP will also be accompanied by a trilogy of short films by Moby on these three tracks.
Moby so immersed in the roots of his music and creativity.
