Alejandro Sanz Warner and Universal Music change

Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz left after 20 years of successful collaboration, the Warner label to begin recording new albums with Universal Music, said the artist in his own social network Twitter. "Well, here goes. After 20 years of hard work and much love, start a new stage at Universal, with all the hope and all desire to do great things.

Thanks to all sl @ s Warner workers' time. I love you and will always love you. And thank you very much to everybody sl @ s Universal workers with enthusiasm. Let us by all, "Sanz wrote in announcing the change. The agreement was signed on Friday in Miami in the presence of Max Hole, the chief operating officer of Universal Music Group International, Jesus Lopez, chairman of Universal Music Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula, and Fabrice Benoit, president of the division of Universal Music Spain , said the label in a statement.

"My new house is Universal" Sanz said in a statement. "Face this new stage with all the enthusiasm in the world with the conviction that we great things." The artist has sold over 20 million albums since he began his career in 1991, including "More" (1997) which sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

Alejandro Sanz soon begin recording his debut album for Universal Music, a work preceded by his multi-platinum hit album Paradise Express (2009) which topped the charts in Spain, Mexico and the U.S., including the Top Latin Albums chart. Among the artists that Sanz has performed or recorded include Alicia Keys, Juanes, The Corrs, Shakira, Joaquin Sabina, Miguel Bosé, Antonio Carmona, Alexandre Pires, Lena, Ivete Sangalo, Paolo Vallesi, Destiny's Child, Daniela Mercury, John Luis Guerra, Malú, David Bisbal, Marc Anthony and Francisco Cespedes.

In the year 2001 was the first Spanish artist to record an album "Unplugged" for MTV.
