Duffy and the band Metric at Mobile World Congress 2011

Each year the Mobile World Congress (MWC) brings the world of high tech and mobility in an exceptional place for a week of presentation. This event is also crowned by a series of award given for a great evening that distinguishes firms and mobility players in the world, "the Congress Party and Awards Celebration.

If this week is all stock the small world of industry, it also gives rise to many ads as recently confirmed that Nokia worked on prototypes of smartphones equipped with Windows Mobile 7, or that LG unveils new series of mobile phones incorporating increased capabilities on the 3D. This Tuesday, February 15 will be under the sign of celebration and awards at the Mobile World Congress 2011.

On this occasion, accredited persons will be able to enjoy an exceptional show of Scottish chanteurse Duffy. The winner of a Grammy Award in 2009 for the album "Rock Ferry" will perform at the National Palace to interpret a series of songs from his latest album, the charming "Endlessly" Duffy will also be joined this evening by the Metric group.

A pop group that has shown its ability to conquer the five continents without a label or record company. Went platinum, the album "Fantasies" is an example for many bands and new talents who wish to live their music independently. Metric also illustrated in the composition of soundtrack, like the part of the saga "Twilight: Eclipse," which earned them being appointed to the Grammy Award, thus opening the doors to a growing reputation.

This evening of MWC 2011 will be hosted by Jonathan Ross and will end at midnight local time, after winning the flagship of the mobility sector in 2011.
