Mike Patton will make its voice in the dubbing of 'The Darkness 2'

When Mike Patton takes a micro, it should expect anything. Versatile as he himself, like reinventing metal with Faith No More, and is dedicated to classic versions of Italian pop music accompanied by an orchestra. And if you get the idea with enthusiasm, until you can get involved as a doubler in a game, as is the case with 'The Darkness 2', where his vocal chords provide the evil spirit that gave its name to the game.

Patton thus repeats the same role already occupied in the first game of the series, launched in mid-2007 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Their work was sublime in that game, so the signing of the singer in this sequel was practically a requirement for 2K Games, which plans to launch in autumn this year.

With Digital Extremes as a new development team, instead of Starbreeze Studios, this time the title will also come to PC, in addition to the two aforementioned consoles. So, here we have another of the many clues that the Californian singer compels us to follow, always ready to not be pigeonholed.
