Soon, life in the cinema by 2Pac

U.S. rap fans, here's some news that will surely delight you. The filming on the autobiographical rapper Tupac Shakur aka 2Pac will start this year 2011. The project, announced in 2010, has been officially launched by the company producing the film via a press release announcing the start of preparations for the filming.

It was in May 2010 that the idea had germinated to make a film about the life of the famous rapper Tupac Shakur. The famous hip-hop star shot dead in 1996 at the age of 25. This week's production company Morgan Creek Production, which announced via an official statement that "The shooting of Tupac Shakur biopic planned to begin in late spring early summer." The film was entrusted to Antoine Fuqua, director of the film "Training Day" or "Brooklyn's Finest." The shooting of the film on the eventful life of the rapper will be between Los Angeles and New York.

The production company also indicates that casting is underway and that no actor has yet been cast by Tupac Shakur. The screenplay was written by Steve Bagatourian, and Stephen J. Rivele and Christopher Wilkinson, who co-wrote the biopic about President Nixon. No information has yet to filter through the screenplay on the life of Tupac.

As some autobiographical film, it can take several directions, either an original or chronological order. However, the announced intention of the writers was to condense their story on the final day of Tupac, interspersing that fateful day long, where the rapper was murdered back on great moments in the life of famous rapper since signing with the music producer Suge Knight, and how he recruited his label by signing a contract on a napkin at the corner of a table.

For its part the film's producer LT Hutton said: "I am honored to be part of the process that brings his life and legacy on the big screen. I am grateful that Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother, gave us his blessing to this project and Morgan Creek, which gives us the green light to start filming.
