Summit meeting for two stars of hip-hop in France. Akhenaten and Faf Larage resurface on a new joint project, a new album entitled "We Luv New York". Launched March 21, this album is common, is a project done with the heart by two French rappers reference. "We Luv New York" is a tribute album to hip-hop New York for years 80 and 90.
Akhenaten and Faf Larage are now part of the history of French rap. One is the co-founder of IAM that needs no introduction and Faf Larage besides its underground compositions, known by the general public for having signed the song "No Time", the music of generic French series TV "Prison Break." Long, Akhenaten and Faf Larage wanted to work together.
Akhenaton who is proposed to Faf La Rage join him on this ambitious project. The two rappers met in a recording studio where the leader of AMI was working on new compositions inspired by hip hop sounds of the 80s and 90s. This mixtape project, the artists come to make a real album, "We Luv New York".
In the end, "We Luv New York" is an album consisting of 16 titles. Faf Larage Akhenaten and left a beautiful place several times, but also several new songs. These new songs are inspired by current hip-hop music in New York for years 1980 and 1990. To promote this new opus, the rapper already proposes two extracts.
A first single from the album, "Uh," which is the buzz on the Internet and video entitled "We dreamed New York" widely disseminated to the media's album "We Luv New York" will be available March 21, 2011. Side show, Akhenaten and Faf Larage already announced a mini tour to present their new project.
A series of concerts that will take them to occur through France, Switzerland and Belgium. Akhenaten and Faf Larage begin their concerts on 16 and 17 March 2011 at Divan du Monde in Paris. Will follow a tour through Agen March 31, April 5 Lyon, Toulouse, April 8, April 9 in Marseille and Nancy May 26
