The Cars: APRS a new album 24 years of silence

Event for lovers of rock music with the great return of The Cars. After 24 years of silence, the U.S. group best known for its new-wave trend resurfaced with a new project. The new-wave group founded in 1976 and separated in 1988 returns to the front of the stage pwer pop with a new album, "Move Like This" planned for the month of May 2011 and we discover it with a first single, "Sad Song." Creator of some of the most beautiful melodies of the 80s like the famous "Drive" published in 1988, the band The Cars is one of the first groups to have emerged from new wave movement in the late 70s.

Originating in the United States, the group ruled the hits of the day for over a decade. Like many rock bands, The Cars broke up in success in 1988. Always remained friends, group members have always remained active in the music business. In 2010, great news for fans, the band decided to reform.

Consisting of Ric Ocasek, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes, David Robinson, the panel nevertheless evolved following the death of one of its founders, Benjamin Orr, in 2000. Production of the new album "Move Like This" has been entrusted to Jacknife Lee. Jacknife Lee is a man of the shadow of the music industry.
