This past weekend we celebrated Record Store Day, and as I discussed one of the many groups that participate in the festive day was Radiohead. His proposal to go out hunting collector in the event was a limited edition vinyl with two new songs, 'Supercollider' and 'The Butcher'. Both sessions from creation of The King of Limbs, but it ended after the album's release date and formats that are now coming single.
More than one will be thinking, rightly, that it could have delayed the disc a few weeks to include these two cuts, to achieve an LP that no sin to be so short. Radiohead - Supercollider (YouTube) Neither will join the list of best songs released by Radiohead, but I think it would have had a pretty decent paper on the last album, especially 'Supercollider', that is what I liked .
Here again we hear the guitars that much we miss in The King of Limbs, following the line on which the group seems to feel more comfortable now. Radiohead - The Butcher (YouTube) The question that everyone asks is: What will become of Radiohead now? They do not have any concerts announced for the coming months, so any know what your plans for the remainder of the year.
It has been rumored to have already begun work on more music, not to leave much time between studio albums, but for now that no more than vague hopes.
