Pearl Jam in 2011 encouraged further by announcing a new album

We live a great time to be a follower of Pearl Jam: Vs and Vitalogy reissues, live album, and even documentary and book to celebrate its twentieth anniversary. Is it too little all this? Then add to the list that are already working on a new album. This was confirmed by bassist Jeff Ament tells Billboard, revealing that twenty-five candidates have already recorded part of their tenth studio album.

Will meet again in April to review in depth all this work and select the twelve or fifteen songs that will cut. Hopefully, the album could be completed this year. Ament ensures that even during the celebrations of the anniversary have been focusing on products to dig in the past, which is logical, what we now want most is to look ahead and see what paths to follow.

Despite his two decades in the way, Seattle has shown that there is still good music in Pearl Jam, so here you have someone to greet you with open arms the next job.
