Perhaps it is that today I am more sensitive than other days but the video 'Dreaming Light', second single We're Here Because We're Here, the latest album by Anathema, my eyes filled with tears. The clip led by director Christopher Kenworthy used black and white and color images emphasizing the bombing of fleeing a little girl who dreams of finding her little sister.
Undeniably beautiful images overlap perfectly with the subject exciting, dramatic and melancholic, in which Cavannagh brothers seem to have used his talent to get a hit. How great are this type and what level they have acquired on their latest album released last year by Kscope Records, which won the award for best Prog Rock album of the year, the first released by British group since 2003, launched A Natural Disaster.
We're Here Because We're Here was mixed by a master, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), who defined it as he was "definitely among the best albums they've had the pleasure of working." Danny and Vincent Cavannagh just returned from an acoustic tour of the U.S. and Canada opening for Blackfield precisely, the other side of Steven Wilson, Anathema and this summer will be the guests of Dream Theater in various European concerts and share the stage with Anneke Van Giersbergen .
