Rio de Janeiro, May 23 (EFE) .- The British musician Paul McCartney began his second and last concert in Rio de Janeiro with the theme "Magical mystery tour" belonging to the Beatles, the band that made him a universal myth in Rio Joao Havelange Stadium. McCartney, who appeared last November in Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo, he turned to the stage for a second day after offering a recital at the stadium yesterday, which marked the singer's return to Rio after 21 year absence.
According to Brazilian media, the musician continued his concert with the song "Jet" from Wings band that formed in late 1970 and "All My Loving" as he did yesterday, to the delight of the audience. The show continued with "Coming Up", part of the album "McCartney II" 1980 and "Got to Get You Into Life" theme which was away from work "Revolver" by the Beatles.
Dressed in black suit and tie, the artist was presented to the public carioca with rigorous punctuality and was heavily cheered by its fans, who still adore the star of 68 years, despite the passage of time. The performances of Rio are the last stop of the Latin American stage "Up and Coming" McCartney, who also led the British vocalist Lima and Santiago de Chile.
In his last performance in Rio de Janeiro in 1990, some 190,000 people went to see the singer from Liverpool in the Maracana stadium.
