The amount of rock legends that have passed through the Festival of Vitoria. This year the Azkena Rock Festival celebrates its tenth anniversary and is to be expected, the bands we already know are being joined by seven new names headed by Brian Setzer, Stray Cats leader that will bring a dose of Rockabilly and imposing toupees that never fail in this festival.
Also accompanied by Slim Jim Phantom, original drummer of the Stray Cats, almost got the trio. More big names: Bright Eyes band led by Conor Oberst (Monsters Of Folk) to publish The People's Key, his first studio album in four years, and Primus, one of the most influential bands in rock fusion and a whole surprise to see them in Vitoria.
The three bands will be in this festival as their only date in Spain. Are added to the lineup also the folk-rock band from Seattle Band Of Horses and state representatives, Arizona Baby do not stop to receive good reviews, the quartet Bilbao rockabilly, garage and psychobilly Jukebox Racket and The Riff Truckers as winners the latest edition of the Villa de Bilbao.
The tickets are € 85 until 15 February, but names are still missing from that survey they did in their web. Come on, there is only one tenth anniversary and we have to throw the house out the window.
