BB King, Cyndi Lauper, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin: big stars in the 2011 Jazz Festival

Probably one of the keys to the success of the Jazz Festival which is held every summer in San Sebastian, is precisely its varied programming. Along with undisputed stars of jazz, the classics, dare to introduce new values, broadening their horizons to other styles and trends. This year it will celebrate its 46th edition from 21 to 25 July and, as a novelty, their common scenarios joins the San Telmo Museum.

Have a genuine opening of luxury with the presence of BB King, who will be this time in charge of gathering thousands of people on the beach Zurriola in a free concert, as happened in previous years with Bob Dylan and Patti Smith . But the king of the blues is not the only star confirmed for the festival.

Cyndi Lauper, John McLaughlin, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Cassandra Wilson, Chick Corea, Lloyd Cole and Bill Evans are just some of the big names in its massive program. Like every year a must for all lovers of jazz, who probably already have well-aimed these dates in their calendars.
