LOS ANGELES, 8 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) The Iron Man actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been uncovered as a talented singer who has wowed more than one critic in the U.S. thanks to his performances in Country Strong. Now, it seems to have decided to go one step further by recording his first album. For over a decade Gwyneth Paltrow showed her talent for song in Duets, a sort of road-trip in which they showed the peculiar world that surrounds karaoke contests and directed and produced his father, Bruce Paltrow.
However, it was not until his appearance on Country Strong when the music industry seems to have realized the talent of the actress. Coming Home, one of the main songs of the film, was nominated for Golden Globes and the Oscars. Paltrow seems to take this success with modesty, but also does not averse to working with Jay-Z, who worked on Lost with her husband, Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, or appearances of the Grammys, where she sang with Cee Lo Forget You Green.
His recent appearance on the hit television show Glee playing the aforementioned song by Cee Lo Green and Do You Want to Touch Me (Oh Yeah) by Gary Glitter, seems to have encouraged a record deal. As reported by British newspaper The Sun, the Shakespeare in Love actress has signed a record deal with Atlantic Records valued at more than 648,000 euros.
His intention seems to be the track record of country-pop style, using the pull of his latest role on the big screen.
