Phil Collins says he does not retire, "It's just a pause"

Phil Collins fans can breathe easy: the alleged end of his career is just a break. "I pause as a parent to care full time and every day, my two young children," said the singer and drummer today on its website. Collins and refutes rumors about his alleged withdrawal: "None of that is true." His spokesman had said early this morning to People magazine that the speculation was false.

The uproar is due to a musician's interview with the English edition of the magazine FHM, "which goes on sale in April.
