Slipknot announce new bassist for their upcoming concerts

Sooner or later have to announce a replacement for the late Paul Gray and Slipknot have done so through their official website: The election to the bass, at least in his next live will be Donnie Steele, former guitarist the band from Des Moines, they left for religious reasons. As expected Slipknot have chosen someone known, someone close to the band, very reliable and I could wrapped up in the painful throes of return to the stage without Paul Gray, who as you know died from an overdose of a derivative Morphina in May last year.

Just Donnie Steele was part of the circle of friends of Paul Gray, so I think the choice was correct. The group makes clear in his statement: Donnie was in the band very early and more than calling a stranger, we feel that pay homage to Paul playing with one of our family. Donnie was well sintonái with Paul and could not think of a better way to honor his memory with someone who was with us from the beginning.

The eight are eager to get back on stage and give our respect to the legacy of Paul with our families in Europe and Brazil this summer. Slipknot will open their European tour on June 17 in the Greek edition of Sonisphere and closed their summer concert series at the Rock in Rio Brazil on 25 September.

Here are all dates in case you catch some by: No one knows if, after this tour, Slipknot will return to the studio to share the models that have been recorded separately by Joey Jordison said late last year, although Corey Taylor responded by Meanwhile there were no plans to do anything in the coming months.

We were in it, but thanks to nmlss and Ray for telling us the news.
