Motörhead, Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, The Ting Tings, Tryo, Gaëtan Roussel, Beady Eye, Keziah Jones, Beth Ditto, The DØ, Birdy Nam Nam ... the festival Eurockéennes prepares to return to the 1st to July 3rd 2011, festival-goers who arrive in France and Europe by tens of thousands.
Founded in 1989, Eurockéennes mark each year the opening of the summer music festivals. The event Belfort is one of the musical events most renowned in Europe. Offering a French and international programming ranging from pop to rock, to metal, reggae, song, world music and electronica. In 2010, more than 80 000 people who attended the festival : from French Grand East course, but also other regions of France, Switzerland, England, Germany and Benelux.
For its 23rd year, the festival announced Eurockéennes full of novelties. Organisers insist this year on several points. First, adding new scenes. Besides the main stage, new performance spaces appear: Esplanade Green Room, this great scene "bis" replaces the Marquee and discovered to enlarge the capacity of over 15,000 spectators.
The scene moves to the Beach ... on the water. Thus rendering the entire range accessible to the greatest number, this will send the decibels lake stage at sunset, comfortably installed in front of festival-goers on hot sand or on natural terraces green. La Loggia Loggia is transformed into Club and now sheltered under a tent that can accommodate up to 2000 people.
