Jane's Addiction convinced to first look at The Great Escape Artist

The road they are following Jane's Addiction to the publication of his new album, fourth of their discography and first since its last reconstruction, is being as tumultuous as expected of them. Up to three players have caught bass during this third incarnation of the band, finally staying Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio as responsible for this amazing instrument.

But all that racking is quickly forgotten when the music starts playing, and even The Great Escape Artist will not be in stores until next summer, Perry Farrell's visit to a Chilean radio has served to air a first look entitled 'To End The Lies' (Soundcloud). And friends, although I admit that was the most skeptical about this return, I must say that this is a great song.

If you want to go straight to the interesting, the track begins at forty seconds of the recording. Forget those rare Farrell influences cited in a previous interview, because this is Jane's Addiction in all its essence, be it fuzzy. A lack of listening to a version with better sound quality and no interruptions to radio broadcasters, this new album has gained a few points with the first bite.
