Queens of the Stone Age enter the studio this summer

While Queens of the Stone Age announced late last year they planned to get to the studio in January, it seems that the task of creating their new album has been delayed a bit. The announcement comes this time by the leader of the formation, Josh Homme, who has said that will be made to work after ending his tour with the appointment of Glastonbury.

The group's performance at the festival is scheduled for June 26 and return to the stage in late July to monitor progress across the Atlantic, so I guess they expect an intense month. Homme ensures you have plenty of songs to put on record, and if all goes as planned will have the results ready by the end of the year.

Let's see if it's true. Remember that a little before that, more specifically on June 24, Queens of the Stone Age comply with the Spanish public as it passes through the Rock Azkena 2011, so all around good reasons for fans of the band from Palm Desert . I just hope they come back wanting to give a lot of cane, which is what they do best.
