Barbra Streisand: "What Matters Most" new album 2011

Barbra Streisand is back with a new album August 23, 2011. Entitled "What Matters Most," this disc will include unreleased tracks written by Marilyn and Alan Bergman, who has long worked with her. "What Matters Most" will be the 36th album of Barbra Streisand. Announced on 23 August, this new album will mark the return of this great lady of song will soon celebrate 40 years of musical career.


For this new album, Barbra Streisand has asked his loyal friends and composers, Marilyn and Alan Bergman, to make 10 new songs. The couple Bergman is recognized by leading. They have composed for film and song, among others, Michel Legrand. Marilyn and Alan Bergman received three Oscars for best original song, two Golden Globe for Best Original Song, three Emmy Award and a Grammy Award for Song of the Year.

The couple worked with composers Barbra Steisand throughout his career, they wrote for the singer of songs like "The Way We Were" and "Bring Me Flowers" and all the beautiful songs of Barbra Streisand movie "Yentl "in 1983. This new album "What Matters Most" will contain 10 new songs of Bergman couple that have never been recorded.

We are told the title as "Nice 'n' Easy" a song written for Frank Sinatra or the title "The Windmills of Your Mind" the song of the movie "The Thomas Crown Affair" that Barbra Streisand has performed recently at 's a charity event. The new album, which is produced by Barbra Streisand, will be released by Columbia Records August 23, 2011.

In addition, the singer announced that the album "What Matters Most" version will be accompanied by a "deluxe" with 10 additional songs.
