Jim Morrison, forty years without his voice

Jim Morrison entered the Club 27 a July 3, 1971, accompanying this select circle deceased colleagues like Brian Jones, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. With his death in the bathtub of his Paris apartment of No. 17 Rue de Beautreillis is just the career of one of the best rock bands of all time: The Doors.

On this day the keyboardist and guitarist of the group will honor him in the Hall Bataclan in Paris under the name Ray Manzarek & Robby Krieger of The Doors, after drummer John Densmore did not want to know anything about his former group and his former teammates. Jim Morrison, poet and singer, known by the nickname The Lizard King is buried in the cemetery of Père-Lachaise in Paris.

On his tombstone, which has never ceased to have fresh flowers, reads the epitaph in Greek: True to his spirit.
