Billy Corgan has no intention of bringing together the original lineup of Smashing Pumpkins

Although everything about the current stage of Smashing Pumpkins to me increasingly boring, it seems that Billy Corgan is really motivated by the subject. In addition to publishing endless Kaleidyscope Teargarden by individual song basis, the Illinois and has announced a new album, Oceania and remastered versions of classic Gish, Siamese Dream and Pisces Iscariot.

Just this last move, so oriented to the past, led to believe that Corgan's mind would jump at the chance to collect the original lineup of Smashing Pumpkins. Nothing could be further from reality, because when asked about it, the singer said that would never happen. According to him, and have distanced themselves too much and things have happened between them that keep together again as if nothing had happened.

Anyway, I do not think that was the solution to get Smashing Pumpkins regain their former glory. Perhaps the fault is mine, and as with former band members, me too and have been estranged things happened to prevent me from back at them as if nothing had happened. Or maybe it's just what they do now is a suckling pig.
