Matmos I return to Italy for three missed appointments maggio.Lo amazing electronic duo born in San Francisco meeting between MC (Martin) Schmidt and Drew Daniel will perform on May 21 to Leoncavallo, Milan, May 23 at the Circle of Artists in Rome and May 24 at Scuderia Bologna. Well known for their close collaboration with Bjrk, Matmos are creators of music that uses the most disparate sources and re-contextualizes the sound in a mixture of great charm and topical.
In their records and in live performance using such sounds of pages of books, whistles, kisses, flowers, organic mood, surgery, contact microphones on the body, insects, tools, just to name a few! Some of their pieces are at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and are planning their first installation at the Yerba Buena Museum of Contemporary Art in San Francisco.
Host of these concerts will Matmos John Wiese, an artist from Los Angeles that a small cult of experimental music, working, among others, Sunn O))), Wolf Eyes, Merzbow.
