Opeth keyboardist left the band

We promised we are very happy with the new Opeth album on the way, one of the many progressive metal releases are expected in the 2011, but I fear that an unfortunate turn in the fabulous band out of Stockholm. This is the keyboardist Per Wiberg, who has left the formation of mutual agreement by both parties, which according to the statement issued by the Swedes to come and see for some time.

Wiberg started playing with the band during their tour to promote the tandem Deliverance / Damnation in 2003, and became a permanent member of the same two years later. Before leaving has had time to contribute their bit for the next album will go on sale, presumably next fall, so their keyboards have sounded in three of the Opeth studio albums, plus two direct.

In the statement signed by Mikael Åkerfeldt highlights the good work that the keyboard player for the album has not yet published, but despite this, the quartet is now looking for a new musician to replace Wiberg at its next concert tour. Whoever gets it will very difficult to match the great work he has done.
