Solidays 2011: let's go for a weekend of concerts!

The 13th annual event starts today Solidays. Over 200 artists will fight against AIDS with a total of 80 concerts from Friday, June 24 to Sunday 26 June. In addition to all his concerts, will be of Solidays its lights and turn into giant disco at dusk. The largest mirror ball in the world will be set up with an impressive wingspan of 8 meters in diameter.

For the part of the festival association and solidarity, remember that AIDS Solidarity Forum, a place for exchanges, meetings and debates around the fight against discrimination will be established. The Solidarity Village will host its next one hundred associations in France and around the world and as luck year profits will be donated to the festival benefit research against the disease of AIDS.


This edition of Solidays full of quality artists, and to show the day Saturday is sold out. At 35 euros a day pass, you can enjoy AaRON Friday, Yael Naim, Alpha Blondy, Katerine, Stupeflip, Balkan Beat Box, Raggasonic, Stuntman, The Go! Team, Cold War Kids, Alice Russell, Skip The Use, The Bewitched Hands, The Joy Formidable, Klaxons, Hocus Pocus, Vitalic V Mirror and The Musicians of the Metro (I hate you and Irma).

In the evening, the artists will give way to a concert with electro Popof, Stereo Soul Crew, Mark Ronson & The Business Intl, Van MTV Soundsystem, Green Room, Hercules and Love Affair, MinistreX. Despite the absence of Pete Doherty because of his conviction, Saturday, June 25 will present Asian Dub Foundation, Patrice, Stromae, Charles Bradley, Moriarty, Israel Vibration, John Butler Trio, Shaka Ponk, Keny Arkana, Les Ogres de Barback, Madjo, Morcheeba, Nasser, quadricolor, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Syd Matters, Free Zone & B vs Casey James, Ebony Bones, the winners of Paris Jeunes Talents (Twin Twin, Lisa Portelli, Namaste).
