From July 6 to 26 Genoa hosts once again "Just Like a Woman." Now in its eleventh edition, the event itself as the most important festival in Italy dedicated to the queen of music. This year, at the Arena del Mare of the Old Port, will perform Bettye Lavette (July 6), Cassandra Wilson (July 20) and Marianne Faithfull (July 26).
In previous editions, the event has seen a succession of prestigious artists on the international scene, true legends like Miriam Makeba, Patti Smith, Joan Baez, Diana Krall, Sheryl Crow, Sinead O'Connor, Rickie Lee Jones Mercedes Sosa, Gal Costa, Suzanne Vega, Dulce Pontes, Angelique Kidjo.
Also in 2011 the festival confirms the propensity to select for their audience, the best music scene in "feminine" with three artists of high artistic and great dramatic impact. Tickets are already on sale.
