The Vivian Girls will be in Italy this summer to present the new live album "Share The Joy." The girls are expected to Brooklyn for two dates in August: the Democratic Party to 8 of Firefly Villadossola (VB) and 9 at Magnolia Circle of Segrate (MI) for the "Magnolia Summer Fest". The trio totrnato to release an album together after less than two years from the previous "Everything Goes Wrong." During this time the girls were almost never still.
The three young American musicians, in fact, finished the tour with the band all have started working on other projects, the frontwoman Cassie Ramone has just released their debut album with The Babies, the group that works together with bassist Kevin Morby of Woods, the drummer Ali Koehler spent with the Best Coast and has now been replaced by Fiona Campbell, while the bassist Katy Goodman has carried out two works, the All Saint's Day (which has produced only an EP) and The evening, which recently released the debut.
Meanwhile, the U.S. band signed a contract with the prestigious Polyvinyl, gi label bands like Of Montreal and Japandroids. The new work retains the freshness and brilliance that characterized the first two chapters of their history, but now the songs are much more complex than ever before.
