An idol of the masses among teenagers and a rapper have been rehabilitated the two big winners of the awards presented annually by the famous U.S. magazine Billboard, which took place on Sunday night (early Spanish) in Las Vegas. Justin Bieber was, without doubt, the big winner of the night to take home a total of eight statuettes.
Although many expected it, the singer dedicated the award to his girlfriend Selena Gomez, but his mother, who also accompanied him on a special night. Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Rihanna performed three awards each unaEl young Canadian took some outstanding prizes, including the Fan Favorite, Digital Artist, New Artist, Digital Media Artist and Pop Album, but it was rapper Eminem who won in the categories Top thanks to the overwhelming success it has had its latest album, Recovery.
Detroit artist took home awards for Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Rap Album (Recovery) and Rap Song (I Love The Way You Lie) which makes the other great protagonist of a night that was enlivened by the performances of Beyonce, Cee Lo Green or Black Eyed Peas, among others.
Artists like Taylor Swift, Taio Cruz, Lady Gaga, Rihanna (who starred with Britney Spears one of the hottest performances of the night) and Mumford & Sons went home with three awards each, while Katy Perry, Train and Usher took home two awards for their respective homes.
